I worked with a team of four other students to develop Gimbal’s Field during Knox College’s Spring 2018 Software Engineering class.
Gimbal’s Field is an engaging, exploratory, and self-contained virtual reality experience.
My responsibilities for this project included UX, C# scripting, and art direction. The player takes a short journey on the island, where they cross a bridge, take a seat around a campfire, and float away in a peculiar rowboat ride. All the while, the heavens open up above the player. Pointing at the stars, the player hears and sees the constellations they constitute.
